That may be but when your at -£200ish you have to make do with what you have, also most of the tape was to hold the cable to the frame while I was getting hold of some more cable-ties which have now replaced the tape.

Meh I like the blue, it doesn't clash with anything else so why bother spending money I don't have on something I really don't need?

 Man, you have got to ditch that electrical tape. There's ways of doing it without making it look hideous, and you can get these clear patches to stick to your frame to prevent rubbing


Chopping the steerer and getting rid of the blue would also be worth doing, just for aesthetics...
