 Are you speaking from experience, or out of spite? I've read your take on the 2x2 etc... Until It breaks I don't see buying a new rack out of spite being feesible.

 No experience, just showing Mr. rockshox22 how stupid it is to make blanket statements like he did in another thread. That said, if you have a low car and plan on really nasty roads I'd just watch the clearance back there. As far as it not being strong in general, I'm sure it'll be fine. Just like the jacknife won't bend either.

 ahinalu. have you even seen a production jacknife? let alone use one? I have an arbutus rack, and comparing the 2 is night and day. completely different execution, fit and finish. There are many other options...
