No experience, just showing Mr. rockshox22 how stupid it is to make blanket statements like he did in another thread. That said, if you have a low car and plan on really nasty roads I'd just watch the clearance back there. As far as it not being strong in general, I'm sure it'll be fine. Just like the jacknife won't bend either.

That's fine, but when you make a blanket statement like that you show your ignorance or your bias. I was pointing out that "if" you were to bend one of these, it would be the Tuff. Like I said, you have about a 10* departure angle on a typical car, "for me" not good enough. You say it won't last more than a year, you have no clue.
It's one thing to support you dads company, it's another to trash talk someone elses company. Not up tight just don't like people talking out their asses dissing something they know nothing about.

Nice try Tuf owners son. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8626933 So I bring up several real issues, I illustrate my argument and all you can come up with is I have problems? Sorry, but when you come over and flame a product, and then make a blanket statement like "(sic) the jacknife will only last a year" and touting how good the Tuf is, back it up. All I see with the Tuf is weakness and issues. Not to mention it sticks out about 4' from the back of the vehicle...which ads more leverage to break the 2x2 bar.

By lifetime, you mean until you bend the shit out of it when you drop into the first deep ditch? If you're just shuttling up a fire road or street, you won't bend the cheapest of racks. I doubt highly this will last less than 10 years. Until you see it up close, know how it's designed, you're talking out your ass.
Just because the Tuf looks "industrial" doesn't mean it'll last, and just because this rack looks "modern" or "sleek" doesn't mean it's weak. *edit* Just looked at how the Tuf is put together...a 2x2 beam sticking out horizontally to carry the load of 4 bikes as opposed to a 2x2 beam vertically carrying 4 bikes. There's a reason floor joists are 2x6 and studs are 2x4. There's going to be a lot less stress to the beam in compression than the one in shear.
Like I said, the departure angle and sticking the weight of 4 DH bikes on a horizontal 2x2 is a "no sale" for the tuf imo.
