yeah, rode that track in the newest sps video today, was just like bmx track surface but wet haha got covered in shit. and they are just i9 hubs on the i9 dh rims
cant really comment on maintenance yet, not had it long enough. Its so much more suple, feels very different to the vivid which where you could feel all the little bumps in the trail opposed to having a smoother ride, the compression adjustments and rebound are much better to fine tune, plus the smooth feel throughout the travel is pretty nice too. I feel it causes the back end to grip a lot more as the shock absorbs and sticks to the ground over every bump but maybe thats just me with my increased confidence with it.
Thanks man. Im really looking at getting one, just another shock to play around with. Im more than pleased with my VAir right now, it does the job well. Not feeling any stiction, or harshness on successive hits, just really good atm (good bottom-out control too). If I can find a good deal on a DB I'd prolly get one first quarter next year. Reason Im in no rush is Im not missing the feel of coil just coz the VAir is kinda like it. Haha.
