nice its sure geting there what tires did u get ? if ur getting tubes i would take a trip to the shop in fyfe they do maxxis dh tubes pretty cheap or just go on to chain reaction (saves the trip across) ive had the same tube for about half a year.

I opted for Maxxis Minions mate, Will give them a try out! I sthat the shops in Leuchars? I need Presta inner tubes but dont know what size! Im running 2,5 tyres, never bought an inner tube in years! Always seemed to have some lying about haha

yeah in leucars minions will do the damage i got a set not to long ago but there only 2.35 but when i get my dj il be putting them on it for the winter months. oh presta valves are shit there so annoying are they the only ones that it through your rims i take it ?

Looks that way mate, Valve hole is extremely narrow. Never ran Presta tubes before. Mm might nip across to the Kingdom of Fife on Saturdaymate!

the guys in the shop are really sound always do a good price i got 2 maxxis tubes for £12 so your saving £7 i would take the rim with you just to check and see what one it is

yeah i would normally take it there the last 2 times i took it to nicolsons but the guy is a bit of an asshole and gave me my bike back with a puncture so fuck that, i prefer leukars , yeas spoks seem to be good aswell never been in there for fixing purposes just to look for parts

Nicolsons is useless! My bike had to get a warranty repair, well my BB shattered after 2 days use and then my crank arm decided to fall off aswell loosing the bolt! and it was in there for like 2 weeks as the boy "forgot" to order the parts. Wouldnt trust them to repair an innertube in all honesty

so you had the status fully built and the lappiere frame. my mate recently bought a scalp and built it up whth the kit off of his kalula whitch was amazing but he was riding with me saturday and took out his meta 5.5 haha i think its becauser he needs boxxers to ride the scalp

Maxxis tubes are terrible! so are Conty tubes, personally the best tubes ive used are Raleigh tubes which are made by CST - im not shitting you these things take some abuse and their not even designed for DH ha

Flash on my camera makes the stanchions look paler, if you look at some of my other pictures you will see the coating glisten more. bouth them brand new 3 months ago mate. 1400 quid...ouchhhh haha.

no mate sadly not haha, its a 2009 frame, purchased at the end of 2010. Bt older but it doesnt look it! Nah mate not rode the bike at all, looking forward to its first outing!

lapierre was bought second hand, not a mark on the frame though. Could be passed as new!
