yeah it was a ridiculous day. that was taken around 3 in the afternoon as well, with only that many lines carved into the snow for gods sakes. and most of them were mine or my buddies. perfect day.
That's crazy, whenever I was snowboarding in France (probably 2010), it was full of skier's and snowboarders. I can't even imagine how great that much have been to have the mountain to yourselves! Not jealous or anything honestly! Lol
well, its not like we hade the whole mtn to ourselves, but it was really empty. the thing is that i live quite close to about 6 excellent ski resorts, and they all compete for the same dollar. this hill has little lodging or apres ski, but great runs nonetheless. so on a work day, it doesnt get much action. most of the tourist money is at lake louise or fernie or whistler, etc. and this hill gets fucking dumped on the night before, so we just got off our asses and had a great powder day.
i live on the swiss, french border in the alps and its been a pretty good season here so far too, had some very early powder days in tignes in mid november and even the lower hills have had good snow but like tou im looking at getting on and shredding the 2 bikes ive built in the down time.
