very small Nik (just the coating, causes no friction and has been looked at by a suspension expert and he states that not worth changing the stanchion and won't damage the seals)can hardly feel it as you rub your finger over it.
only selling as sold the frame I was using these on and won't be replacing that for a while.
Lowers covered with 3m tape since new.
oil service 6 months ago not used since.
