Haha, & I always wanted dark grey! The black is so hard to keep up, although this is tuxedo black which is not as bad as a solid black!

The nice thing is the black is so easy to color match accessories with. I have to go either all black or stay chrome on mine, looks bad with parts black and some chrome...

Wife wanted me to get dark grey Tacoma but I've always liked black. Harder to upkeep for sure but looks amazing when it's clean.

I wanted black, but they didn't have black w/ light interior on the lot, so I went with Dark grey with tan int. I've learned one thing is that the exterior color of the vehicle doesn't make it hotter, but black interior burns during the summer here...

Black interior here is fine. My old SUV was black leather interior with heated seats. Not something you'd want where you live, lol.

My Jetta had black interior, but even when I tinted the windows beyond legal it still burned. Thankfully all vehicles purchased in AZ come factory tinted to the limit all the way around. 20% in the back, and 25% up front. I'd like to make it 20% all around, and black out some things. bowtie, grill, wheels etc...

That's pretty coo on factory tint. My Taco only has rear tinted. I want to get the front tinted at some point to match. Just not in to putting any doras into it right now.

Yeah, they do an extra coating on the paint, factory tint and nitrogen tires for the "AZ" vehicles. I also believe they simply don't pour any antifreeze... hahaha

Cause weight savings, lol. Extra paint coat for sun protection? I just started seeing factory vehicles come with nitro tires at Toyota. Those green valve caps would kill the blackout effect.
