Ya I can 180 like a boss but I'm affraid to try to 360 off a ramp or anything though but dude keep it up cause ya so rewarding when u land such a valuable and sick trick! I wanna learn tail wips soon but it'll take me a while so I'm not in any big rush! Wbu can you tail wip?
DerkGort, I have some advice if you will take it. And I have to make a few assumptions...
The main reason people take their foot of the pedal when they try to do a 360 is balance. I bet you that you are looking down at your wheels when you are landing. As you look over your shoulder while you are rotating keep your head and eyes UP! Once your eyes fix on the point ahead of you keep your head and eyes up and looking straight ahead. Your body will follow your eyes and your bike will follow your body. Hey presto - you will land a 360. The easiest place to learn to 360 is out of a skate park bowl/quarter pipe because when you land you won't have any forward momentum and you can safely put a foot down.
It is the same reason you have to look forward while you go around corners. Keep your eyes fixed on where you want to go and if your wheels slip your sense of balance will take care of things. If you look down at the dirt in front of your bike and your wheels slide around you will end up going where you are looking - down into the dirt.
Stand on your left foot. Hold your right foot with your right hand behind you. Close your eyes. Take one hop to your left and try to recover your balance while still holding on to your right foot. Now try to do it with your eyes closed. MUCH easier!
