I'm not judging the bike at all. I'm judging its looks.

You went on in your original reply to talk about how well the bike rides. I don't give rat's ass how well it rides.

Yes I am judging it on cosmetics. I work in a bike shop. Often when someone is looking for which bike to buy, they will take aesthetics heavily into consideration. I would not buy this bike because there are a bunch of DH bikes out there that look amazing (V.10, Session, Demo, etc) and probably perform equally as well if not better.

 If I rode one and it kicked ass, I wouldn't call myself dumb, I would say to myself "Damn, this ugly-ass bike rides pretty nice."

 no i think your opinion is misguided because of the fact that you are judging a bike purely on cosmetics.. how about you try riding one and then realize how much it kicks ass and then you'll call yourself dumb too

 I think the fact that gee won, rachel won, and taylor vernon would have won but qualified first by like 6 seconds on this bikes debut... sooo tell me again how cosmetics matter SOOOOO much! Yes, "it's ugly" is your opinion, but a very biased opinion at that. It's a really nice bike. It's REFRESHING compared to all the bike companies who saw treks success with their vertical suspension set up and started making similar bikes. Linear bikes like the GT allow you to use all of the suspension, the suspension feels bottomless.
