My black eye is courtesy of the helmet-smashing fall I took during practice the morning of the Windham ProGRT race... Didn't end up racing due to the fall (and the resulting shoulder dislocation and head banging), but I sure brought a nice souvenir home!

Pshhh clay is so much worse come to Georgia and try some of the clay trails when they're wet.... Your equipment will be stained orange and you'll prolly break a bone..... It sure isn't too much fun here with my specialized compound 26 tires... No wet riding for me
Anyways..... get better soon and I hope to see you back on the bike shredding hard in a video real soon!!!!

Yeah, pretty pumped about nothing being broken, but my shoulder isn't awesome... But I'm still in the gym, working legs and abs; anything to keep me fit and busy!

Not yet -- I cracked the plastic face piece (goggle area plastic band) when I went down, versus whacking the actual helmet, so I'm hoping the helmet is salvageable. Not really thrilled about spending another $450 to buy another helmet.

Almost healed right up. Thank god for arnica oil -- two and a half weeks out and the black eye is gone! Haha.
