I've never ridden any VPP bikes, but compared to other split pivot/single-pivot frames I've owned, it slays. So stable. Rides like a DH rig. Had a quick ride on the Bronson and it was similar, but the Spitfire feels like it gobbles up the trail better and still manages to feel poppy when you need it. If this thing was carbon and kept the same durability, it would be THE best trail bike.
Sweet! Yeah. I've been looking at a trail bike that goes down easily but can still climb.. and what you said about this compared to the bronson is exactly what I want!
