 Yeah, got the shock cheap and some custom mounts made up by locotuning.
Also tuned the shock to suit the linkage a bit better.

Works incredibly well as it is now.
Nice stable pedalling, but really livens up when you get 30% into travel then ramps up nicely at the end of travel. Feels very playful when you open it up on really rough ground, doesn't wallow around in the mid-deep stroke like it did before tuning, and feels bottomless on big hits.

Still have the original shock I fixed, but not thinking about going back to it after riding this one now.
(Have another same shock on its way but with additional compression adjustment, so will see how that rides.)

 hi mate, do you still have the bike?? only ask as i am in portsmouth as well and have a ransom 20.
i was wondering what the iscg mount is on the bike 03 or 05??

do you go out much on it?? im out every fri night and some during week
