Best not ask me about brakes 🤣.
The frog wake pro fv4 is on par with hope tech4 on power adjustbility and feel.
Best setup I've found is frog wake pro levers, on ttpro 18mm calipers.
(This punches just above the hope dh4)
Ultra adjustable lever, super amount of power, mineral oil with 5.5mm lines and goodridge style screw in connectors (not barb and olive).
Have also been trialling the zoom hb-950
0e with 20mm caliper brakes, but they're just too much for me.

Frame had been spot on, would highly recommend it.
DNM shock wasn't great, so have swapped out to a gen2 manitou mara comp which is way plusher.
The most annoying thing on it is the rubber grommets for the headtube cable/hose routing. But you only have to deal with them very rarely.

I had issues with the lever reach adjuster gradually winding in whilst riding on these.
So I've now fitted them with some frog wake f-pro levers.
Definitely a good upgrade, super smooth and adjustable.
The olive issue is likely due to the hoses being 5.5mm, rather than the standard 5.0mm.
The silver hose connectors are best, as they are bolt in like old goodridge fittings, so no olive needed.
