Brook Macdonald Confirms Signing with Forbidden Bikes
@gabiusmaximus: I see you've realised their interpretation of 'funtional' is that they can't function the site without being able to sell your data..... (Worked for a major player in the industry, and yes that's a thing!)

@yetijayboy happy to confirm these are in fact rather good! Better stopping power than I'd given them credit for when running the power ratio values. I'd put them on par with old codes for stopping power, and this is still on their stock semi-metalloc pads. Will give these a couple more rides to confirm initial impressions then switch them up to full sintered and see how they go with those :)

So completely overlooked the fact they came setup the wrong way round for the uk! Have swapped the levers round now, and the barbs are oring barbs like formula, and dual ridge olives like Shimano. I've now also run the actual numbers for hydraulic and mechanical leverage to get the power rating. Looks to come out as 28 or 31 (depends on master cylinder being either 10mm or 9.5mm, and I'm not stripping it that far to check). For comparison: mt5's rate at 38, Maxima's 49, shigura 49. So better than the onirii m4's(22), but not as good as the m4's with Shimano servo wave levers (35). All comes down to how they feel to ride tbh, and I'm optimistic they'll have a more direct feeldue to less flex in the caliper n lever.

No, these come with their own calipers. Although they are a bit smaller piston size than I'd hoped. 14/16mm pairs, when I expected 14/17 :(.

Hahaha, give a guy a chance . Not got them fitted just yet, waiting till the missus goes to bed before I go tinker. Considering the gamble, and lack of any actual info on them they do seem really good. Better made than my onirii m4's, and just gotta see how they compare it n power to the m4 calipers on deore levers. They are SRAM matchmaker clamp compatible. Nothing like rolling the dice, and being the global guinea pig .
