awesome cassette for all mountain riders wanting light weight, durability in terrible conditions, and great shifting performance with either SRAM or Shimano chains

looks great too, and works 100% with light weight hubs like Hope Pro II that have aluminium alloy freehub bodies that require a "spider" alloy cassette

Strong enough for even the trashers, light enough for all but the most serious gram counters and sexy with it's red lockring... sounds like some women I've known, lol. Seriously though, unless you're going to go XTR I cant see a reason to not go 990.

Great range of gears I only run a 1x9 set up on my Niner and the 11-34 with a 32 or 36 up front give me all the gears I need to ride up or down with fully geared friends. Light and strong.

Running this, the 2009 version (not all the fancy red design) and so far it has held up great. It is light for what it is, has a nice spread of gears, shifts crisp and just looks sweet.

Love the pimp factor. A little bling here and there can spruce up a plain rig. Of course the anodized spider is the true magic, making for a light and stiff cassette.

great price for such a light and durable cassette. SRAM is all I use for drivetrain parts and lasts me a season of hard racing..

super light, and fast shifting, goes well with X-9 rear sifter, and the red color looks sick!

Shifts well, nice and light, not too pricey and it comes in different colours! What more could you want?
