Great hubs. Not quite as pricey as some others but perform as well as any I've ridden. Not heavy but not light either... They'll take some serious terrain without complaint. The front hub gets two cartridge bearings which makes it easily serviceable (though I havent tried it first hand yet) and keeps them running smooth. I've got them laced to a pair of 823's and they're flawless. Lighter than the Deemax but every bit as tough. Unless I was stepping up to Industry Nine, there's not another hub I would buy...

Sun Ringle Jumping Flea Front (MSRP $118) — Sun Ringle's most renowned hub set.

Specifications Compare to other Hubs

Release Date 2009
Price $118
Weight 0.42 g
Color Options Black
Hub Bearings Two Sealed Cartridge Bearings
Spacing 20mm
Spacing - most forks use a 20mm thru-axle (QR20), quick release/QR (9mm), or now, a 15mm hub. It is important to know which hub your fork needs as standard quick release hubs cannot be converted to use with a 20mm compatible fork. However, there are reducers for some hubs that can go from 20mm to standard QR. Rear hubs typically come in two sizes. The first is 150x12 and the second is 135x10. However, some bikes do use a 165mm hub and 135x12. It is important to know which rear hub is required on your bike so it will be compatible.
