 what a recommendation ^^^^

love the hubs nice engaugement 72 points
3 pawl i think?
they have fast pick up, and the rear hub isnt to noisy but you CAN still hear it but its a good sounding click nothing like a hope proII

simply the best for how much you pay because not everyone can afford nice CK's or hopes, this is just a step below them.

Great hubs. Not quite as pricey as some others but perform as well as any I've ridden. Not heavy but not light either... They'll take some serious terrain without complaint. The rear hub gets three sealed cartridge bearings and one radial needle which makes it easily serviceable (though I havent tried it first hand yet) and keeps them running smooth. I've got them laced to a pair of 823's and they're flawless. Lighter than the Deemax but every bit as tough. Unless I was stepping up to Industry Nine, there's not another hub I would buy...

One thing to consider: The rear hub only has 24 points of engagment, every 15 degrees... A bit on the slower side for a dedicated DH/FR hub. The weight you save makes it worthwhile in my book but to those who live for the quick engagment of CK's or I9's, you'll likely find the fleas lacking. Otherwise, flawless.

I use it on the back of a norco team dh.I ride this hub for downhill and freeriding, very solide and light.Has a very nice sound too.Definatly a good choice for a bombproof, low maintainence hub with a nice sound, which isn't on every other bike you see!

Sun RingleJumping Flea Rear (MSRP $257) — Sun Ringle's most renowned hubset.

Specifications Compare to other Hubs

Release Date 2009
Price $257
Weight 326.58g
Color Options Black
Hub Bearings Three Sealed cartridge bearings & one radial needle bearing
Spacing 12/ 150mm OR 12/ 135mm REAR
Spacing - most forks use a 20mm thru-axle (QR20), quick release/QR (9mm), or now, a 15mm hub. It is important to know which hub your fork needs as standard quick release hubs cannot be converted to use with a 20mm compatible fork. However, there are reducers for some hubs that can go from 20mm to standard QR. Rear hubs typically come in two sizes. The first is 150x12 and the second is 135x10. However, some bikes do use a 165mm hub and 135x12. It is important to know which rear hub is required on your bike so it will be compatible.
