@gossman: yes, and Gee is the definition of too much. His crash at rampage was so brutal, could've easily paralyzed him or worse. I'm not gonna stop him, but I wish he would tone it down like 1 tiny notch.

We love Gee and what he does, but damn, my family has lost 2 people in motorcycle accidents, we watched Silva paralyze himself. He can do what he wants, but I don't think it's worth the risk of having his kids grow up without a dad. Make sick edits without putting your life on the line. That redbull rampage drop still sticks in my head, he's lucky to have walked away from that one.

@shapethings: most countries with universal healthcare don't cover out of country accidents I think. Also, if he had to wait for treatment throught NHS, he would not be recovering as quickly as he does lol. He most likely has insurance through his sponsors or additional supplemental.

@Mac1987: facts and then I realize I actually suck at braking and cornering so really I save 1 watt spending $$ and I waste about 10-100 watts over-braking into corners, panic braking before flat corners, and then pedaling like hell after a corner having just realized I've completely botched it lolol.

Mountain Bikes From the Past 7 Years That We'd Still Happily Ride
@NapoleonDynamite: yeah it's perfect for me where 90% of my trails (ann arbor michigan area) can be ridden on an xc hardtail, and the other 10% is perfect for a trail bike lol. I love that the suspension still works well even when I run less sag for efficiency.
