Wolf Tooth Launches Shift Gravity Clipless Pedals
Marketing teams at most brands these days are pushing the vibe they want to instill with folks with image boards full of "see yourself here, doing this!" Which is that brand's idea of what the sport should be, for that rider, at that moment. Better product marketing for this pedal would have been something disruptive. Memorable. More thought-provoking. Now its just another anodized pedal, from another brand, hoping to catch the attention of the clipless customer who might not know that shimano SPD pedals are bulletproof and last decades.

mountainFLOW Releases Plant-Based Water Bottle
Just a quick synopsis of looking into the plant-based materials mentioned in the above article... Biopolymers are not inherently safer than conventional plastics; studies show they can contain comparable or even higher levels of toxic chemicals, which can leach into the environment and cause harm to living organisms. While bioplastics may offer benefits like being plant-based, they often require chemical additives and can still break down into harmful microplastics. Their "biodegradability" depends heavily on specific, often industrial, conditions that are not met in most natural environments, and their potential toxicity to ecosystems needs further research however.

First Ride: Specialized's New Butcher & Eliminator Tires
I live in the desert and have been able to peel side knobs off after only a few days in Moab. Been on these new tires for a few weeks now and they are holding strong after 20 laps on Ahab!
