Throwback Thursday: Opinion - The Argument For Short-Travel Bikes

@Waldon83: The problem for many people is that they buy a big bike because it looks cool at the ews and then find that their local riding is just too tame to make good use of it so they either have to drive for hours /fly to find some suitable terrain or they are left dragging a 35 lb+ monster on super tacky tyres around the equivalent of a blue trail.

@jhoward: There are loads of non techy xc marathon races in europe where a hardtail would be fine eg Dolomiti Superbike, Grand Raid, Sella Ronda Hero etc.
