Interview: Discussing Data Acquisition for World Cup DH with Nick Lester
Integration anyone? Wonder what processing tools they provide to get from accelerations to displacement. For now DT’s still provide the clearest, crispest data.

Pinkbike Poll: Where Do High Pivot Bikes Make Sense?
One of the benefits with HP not mentioned is that you can change the front chain wheel size (no. of teeth) and not impact kinematics.

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
Very subjective and wide range of outcomes. Destroyed a few, but my last incident involved pushing the whole thing into my rear wheel, locking up the rear wheel and skidding for about 5 meters (was luckily on flat ground) and destroying about 3 spokes. And a new hanger later its working fine at about 98% of new condition. Does that count??

Opinion: Do We Need Size-Specific Chainstays?
Agreed. Keep short chain stays if you like for straight line functions and performance and lean forward more in attack position, with outside elbow high in corners.

Opinion: Do We Need Size-Specific Chainstays?
Not sure its that big a deal. I like the adjustable or options for different length drop outs. But what about the real need - different anti squat tuning for different frame sizes.

Intra Drive's Combined Motor & Gearbox Fits Bikes Designed For Shimano EP8 [Updated on expanding into the aftermarket]
If it’s possible to change the front cog to a larger size, then you can just go bigger on the single rear to match. Solves the gearing issue and anti squat problem. But reduces ground clearance.

Vary the ant-squat by frame size so big people get enough and little people not too much.
