There is a lot going on in the suspension system. Milled chainstays will provide a lot of flex. So makes sense Joe is running all the other stiffeners.

Agree. Three potential reasons for this:
1. Maintain similar kinematics when changing chain ring size.
2. Could be expanded for options across frame sizes. Most small riders on small frames get excessive antisquat and large riders get low antisquat as frame companies don’t move pivots to compensate for the average centre of mass of the rider.
3. Personal choice for the type of riding and/or your specific centre of mass vs frame size you prefer etc.
Not commenting on validity of the patent. Just the value of the idea.
Edit: 4th reason: adjust to complement chain stay length adjustment as this also affect antisquat outcomes.

There is a wheelsize missing.
26” remains a great wheel size for some young riders.

One of the benefits with HP not mentioned is that you can change the front chain wheel size (no. of teeth) and not impact kinematics.

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
Very subjective and wide range of outcomes. Destroyed a few, but my last incident involved pushing the whole thing into my rear wheel, locking up the rear wheel and skidding for about 5 meters (was luckily on flat ground) and destroying about 3 spokes. And a new hanger later its working fine at about 98% of new condition. Does that count??

Agreed. Keep short chain stays if you like for straight line functions and performance and lean forward more in attack position, with outside elbow high in corners.

Not sure its that big a deal. I like the adjustable or options for different length drop outs.
But what about the real need - different anti squat tuning for different frame sizes.
