About Me

This is basically about my riding historyI am not much of a rider but I have always loved riding ever since I could peddle on my own. I have ridden more seriously off and on since I was about 15 and started off riding BMX. I had to stop riding for about 2 years when was 18 because I had major wrist problems and ended up having 2 surgeries. So when I was 20 and jump back on my bike and that summer got into downhilling. I bought my first downhill bike, my Specialized big hit and is a bit old but it was cheap and is still very loyal. I have been doing some work on it building it up and making it an pretty cool bike. Last summer of 2007 I was going to start amateur racing with a buddy of mine, but then broke my ankle really bad riding. So that put me out again... after my ankle healed I found out that I had also herniated a disk in my back pretty badly and my doctor said it was a miracle I was even walking! So this winter a little less then 2 weeks ago, (12-4-07) I had to have back surgery. My Doctor says that I can still ride... but not like I used to. One of my dreams was to become at least a pretty decent rider and now I know because of my back I never really will be able to be. I glad I can still ride and am bless that I can even walk today and didn’t paralyze my self this last summer, but I'm still trying to be ok with the fact that I have to take it easy from now on.
