Up for sale is my 2017 Pivot Phoenix. I bought this in mid-September of 2022 from an older man who had ridden the bike around 10 times throughout his ownership. Since then I have ridden it for the 2023 season, with moderate use. The front brake lever is bent, but thanks to the adjuster, it still works fine. It can be replaced for 27$ on Fanatic Bike Co. Upgrades are as follows... I have also installed new Deity Blacklabel bars, a Deity seat post clamp, and a Deity headset spacer kit. Fresh Maxxis Assegai Tires have been installed, the rear has 5 days and the front has 1 so they are practically new. This also means there is fresh Stans Tubeless Sealant. I’ve changed the cranks, opting for a longer 175mm Raceface model. The fork had a full service at the end of July, and the bike was inspected and tuned by a shop in September of 2023. The rear brake was bled and the chain tensioner was replaced in September as well. Mucoff tubeless valve stems have also been installed. Pedals will not be included, and the original top cap will be installed before the sale and will include the MuckyNutz front fender that came with the bike, along with the grips that have been off the bike for about half the time I have owned it. Gary Fisher kids bike, obviously not in great shape, has been used heavily by children. However, each component is in working order. The 6 speed grip shifter works like a dream, and the rim breaks are what you would expect; they get the job done. Tires will leak air eventually but hold air for a good amount of time. Overall a good bike to start on if you don’t mind the relative cosmetic damage. Would like to avoid shipping but could be done at buyers expense. Shoot me an offer!
