This is the descent that makes the whole ride worth the work. It starts off a little slow (me), but speeds up as I get a feel for the trail, and is the complete descent, no stops. Ridden Dec 28/14, on my old '09 Stumpjumper fsr.

Faster descent than the upper section, and a classic Banff trail. Popular with the shuttle crowd, as you access it via the Mt Norquay ski resort, and there isn't much climbing. Ridden June 2013, on my old Stumpjumper FSR, and with a buddy who hadn't ridden the trail before.

Classic trail in Banff, with a tough technical climb to get you up to the top. This links you into the more commonly ridden lower section. Ridden June 2013, with my old Stumpjumper FSR.

Fernie, Tears and Gears event, September 15/2012. We entered in the Enduro relay team, with combined age of less than 80. My team mate ran 22 klm's of single track, then tagged off with me where I had to ride 27 klm's of single track. This was a timed section within the last part of the course, for a little extra fun and competition!

The descent's, the view's and the climbs (99% cut out from this video) make this ride awesome. Filmed with a GoPro Hero HD at 720p 60fps, with a custom mount from my handlebar stem. Ridden with a '09 Specialized Stumpjumper Elite, with Kenda small block 8's and Stan's NoTubes conversion.
