Stoney Squaw Banff, lower section descent.

Faster descent than the upper section, and a classic Banff trail. Popular with the shuttle crowd, as you access it via the Mt Norquay ski resort, and there isn't much climbing. Ridden June 2013, on my old Stumpjumper FSR, and with a buddy who hadn't ridden the trail before.

Totally agree with both comments! I don't ride it a lot these days, but I always take people to ride it when they're here visiting the Bow valley. It's a trail most abilities can ride, and the speed just goes up for the more skilled riders. This was the 1st time down it for my buddy Mitch, on the Devinci.
