For sale are my Spank Spoon32 2015 26"wheelset in orange. They are also on an auction site for wheels only, no rotors, no tyres, no tubes and no reserve. Front axle compatibility, 15mm or 20mm with the adapters provided. 12/135mm rear hub. Sorry, but I'm not splitting up the wheelset. At a push I'll remove the tyres and rotors for £160 and that is my best price. Sorry, no rear wheel quick release axle adapter, this was accidentally left in when I took the photos as I plan on buying the 650b version of this wheelset and Spank plan to phase out supplying the quick release axle with the 135mm wheelsets (private communication with Spank). Overall in good condition. One significant scratch over SPANK graphic as seen in photo. Two other notable marks but nowhere near as obvious as the mark to the spank graphic pictured. Several other pin prick defects in the anodizing which are hardly noticeable unless you are hunting for them, see last orange rim picture that has three marks but are hard to see. Hubs and bearings are in excellent condition. Bearings are silky smooth. New for 2015 the rear hub has a 4 pawl freehub (Shimano compatible) rather than 3 found on 2014 and older spank spoon rear hubs. And Spank feels the need to bang on about Japanese bearing upgrades! Bought in July 2015 they have only seen light use and not used over winter due to injury. Wheels are strong, straight and true. Come with Maxxis Holy Roller 60a compound tyres with 90% tread still on them and Shimano RT66 rotors F180mm/R160mm. Offers please via the Pinkbike message system.
