Interview: Cam Zink Brings YT to North America
If a LBS gave you crap for a brand of bike they don't carry they would be out of business fast. They may give you a little hassle and try to push their brand, but I have a hard time believing a shop would turn down business. I worked in a shop and we worked on everything that came through the door. Aside from putting the brand on the customer tag for identification for the repair we didn't care what brand it was. Quite frankly all these brands blend together after a while when you work on them. Repairs and maintenance are bread and butter for most small shops as well.

Ask Pinkbike: Should I lock out my fork? A clamp to fit a stubby seat tube? How can I land a bike shop job?
Unless you work in a top tier bike shop that caters only to high end clients it just plain sucks. You will spend half your day working on the worst bikes you have ever imagined. The second half of your day will be filled with loads of people scoffing at the price of everything. Then you have the crazies... You will deal with more mentally ill folks than a social worker. My "dream" job was to work at a shop. Now I've done that and found it to be lackluster at best. Getting gear and bikes for EP prices were cool, but ultimately not worth it. Ride for fun and learn to work on your own stuff. You will be much happier and ride more.

Industry Nine 26" Gravity Wheels - Reviewed
I worked for an I-9 dealer. Almost all of the wheels we had sold had either bearing issues or the rear hub binding issue within a few months. These new I-9s don't have the bearing pre-load adjust like the old style enduro hub. I myself went through 3 bearings in one season and I don't ride as much as many people. On the flipside a customer put 500k feet of climbing in one year on the new wheels with little problems once the bearing issue was fixed in the freehub. Even though we had issues with the wheels they were fast and friendly in fixing the problem. Finally, any company I can call and talk to a real person every time is good in my book. For how small the company is they make one hell of a product IMO.

Nov 20, 2013Truvativ X 2x10 MRP Chain Guide ISCG-03 old style
$65 USDTruvativ X 2x10 MRP Chain Guide
ISCG03 old style ISCG mounts
Works with a 36tooth or 38t double crankset. This is NOT for a single ring setup.
Great condition and was cleaned regularly so not much wear on it. Was used for 1 season so it's a little faded and smudged. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is my new frame has iscg05 mounts. This guide worked flawlessly all season, never dropped a chain.

Jul 23, 2013*Price Drop* Trek Slash 19.5 with dropper post, wheelset
$1400 USD2013 Trek Slash 8 Frame and extras.19.5 or size Large. Willing to part out if I can get enough interest.
Mint condition. No cracks, no dents with just a couple scratches that don't even go past the primer. I warrantied the rocker link for the paint defect you can see on the white one in order to get the all new bearings that come in them from Trek. This bike was meticulously maintained and ridden lightly. Only selling because I work at a shop and am getting the next model year bike and used the parts I could from this bike to build up another frameset I had.
As for the wear and tear on it, it would be hard to find another used frame in this condition, since I have multiple bikes they don't get much wear on them. I weigh 165lbs and don't do big jumps or drops and it has never been to a bike park.
It's cleaned, torqued to spec and ready to be built up.
New rocker link with brand new bearings.
Fully serviced and rebuilt rear shock that has zero miles on it since the rebuild.
Rockshox reverb stealth dropper post.
Headset, and front derailleur( sram x7) Brand new stock wheelset(Bontrager duster 142x12rear 15mm front with tubes n tires) and a spare rocker link included.
Comes with the chain guard for the chainstay I just removed it to show the condition of the frame.
This is the last year the trek slash will be 26" wheel size so get it while you can. In case people are unaware you can run 650b wheels on these frames without issues with all the tires currently on the market. (that I am aware of) As long as using a fox or 650b fork.
$1400FIRM. This price is more than fair... Will ship on your dime. Insured and packaged professionally.

Fox Racing Shox Changes Its Tune: CTD Gets More Compression Damping and a Progressive Spring Rate
descend... I wish there was an option to edit text after posting. I will say that once I added more float fluid to the air side it is better. The fork just dives real bad when you brake. I found you either end up adding more air/oil and sit higher in the travel of the fork or you use trail mode with less air.
