Interview: Orbea, TQ, and Fox on Developing an eMTB That Doesn't Feel Like an eMTB
@g123: exactly that for me. I was using the bike (pre launch) to guide far, far fitter riders. On the climbs one guy was capable of sustaining 300-350W and I was able to climb with him no issues. I was at below 200W which is comfortable for me. It was funny actually because he didn’t know it was an ebike (with the lights off it’s hard to tell) and was more than a little bit surprised. For me the bike is amazing for that. You can climb with far, and I mean FAR, fitter riders. It’s only really when you do that, that you realize how much it’s helping. It’s not an ebike feeling, you are still working which I like. Maybe because it feels so natural people underestimate the help it’s giving. And it’s true, it’s not that big push in the back feeling you get with other e-bikes. But 100W more, or 200W more… it’s a big help. And obviously downhill it rocks. You don’t need to compromise on lighter tyres. It’s a beast. I’ve beaten my local KOMs here thst I’ve had for years and years. It’s a cool concept. It’s not for everyone. But it’s definitely cool.

Video: Guillaume Larbeyou Flows Between Pyrenees Mountains & Waves in 'Ressacs'
Nice video. It was great to see our local Bera bike park trails feature in there. (2:00 to 2:40). I hope that you enjoyed them, you must have been one of the first people to ride it looking at the lack of tyre marks! Eskerrikasko / thanks to all the people who put in their time to make those trails possible, and as always, thanks to Orbea for the support in building and maintaining these trails.

Video: How OQUO Earned Its Place in World Cup DH in 'The Jump'
Great work. I saw the new facility getting set up and to be racing DH, (and Hardline too no?), in such a short time is a big achievement. Big congratulations to all involved.

Orbea Announces RS Control System with Integrated Electronic Dropper Post
Seems weird until you try it. More assistance is easier to reach that way, and that’s the one you reach for in a hurry.

@Gulevich87: He pops up on every thread. Mine never did that, I’m guessing yours neither. How many vertical meters have you hucked on your Rallon? :-) If it was a fundamental flaw I guess we would have found out!
