Check out motocross gloves. They usually have more protection on the top.

Video: Go Behind the Scenes at a Fox Service Center in 'Dialed'
Anyone else find it odd that they have an Avalanche sticker on the side of the machine used for cycling shocks @2:40 in the vid? Avalanche makes dampers that replace Fox internals.

First Look: Transition's All-New Spur is a Rowdy XC Bike
@lyzyrdskydr: Agreed. I'm riding a 2015 Phantom and it handles all I can throw at it. Not saying this Transition couldn't handle it, but it's nice to have a bike that you know can handle drops and bike park stuff. Here's some of the things I do with my Phantom.

Nice bike! I'm riding a 2015 Phantom. I have it set up as 27.5x2.8. I feel like the bike is even more like a bmx with the smaller wheels. How are you liking 29?

First Ride: 2021 Ibis Mojo 4 - Longer, Slacker, & Lighter
I looked through this article, does it even say if this new bike can clear 2.8" tires?

First Ride: 2021 Ibis Mojo 4 - Longer, Slacker, & Lighter
@LeoTProductions: But the true measure of Reach is between the BB and top of the steerer tube. Nothing to do with seated position. I'm surprised they went so long with this bike too. Especially since they have always had very short Reach numbers.

Video: Old-School Meets New-School in 'Since 1977'
I had a Turbo, and it was sick! I kept in the house. Stupidly sold it in the mid 90's (before internet/ebay) for like $175. Now I see I could get about $2k for the condition mine was in.

Norco Evolve

$250 USD
2004 Norco Evolve trials bike. Very nice shape. I changed out the stem and bars for something a little taller. I also removed the rear derailleur and cassette and added a single speed kit. I put very grippy trial specific rear brake pads on it so rear wheel hops are no problem. I can ship at your expense.
