2021 Ibis Ripmo AF with the SLX build kit and Ibis S35 carbon rims with Ibis logo hubs. I got this bike coming off of a 120mm carbon trail bike, and want to go back to the short travel XC/trail bike. The Ripmo AF is very fast, stable, and confidence-inspiring, but 99% of my rides don't involve shuttles or lifts. The DW link allows this bike to pedal pretty efficiently given the travel and weight, but for now, I'd rather go back to something that's a bit lighter and more nimble. Shipping got delayed when I ordered this, so by the time it was sent out in September, they gave me the 2021 model with the Onyx D1 fork. This bike has seen about 5 rides total. One Downieville day, two Tahoe shuttle laps, and a few regular loops. Then the trails got wet in Reno/Tahoe and this bike has been sitting and collecting dust. MSRP is $4799 with the carbon wheels, and this is essentially a brand new bike that will allow you to save on sales tax and shipping delays. If you have an Ibis Ripley (carbon or AF) or something similar in regards to weight and travel, let me know and I would possibly be open to a trade. I will dust it off this weekend and take updated photos. The only cosmetic wear is a few tiny scratches on the paint of the cranks from pedal strikes. Selling my 2015 Specialized Camber Expert Carbon Evo 29er This is a great do it all mountain bike. It climbs great due to it's low weight and geometry but can keep up with the longer travel bikes on the descents. Great for the longer XC style rides but can also charge some Downieville laps with ease. With that said, this bike has been put to use. I have maintained it, but there are a number of scratches and it does not look perfect. Most of the scratches are on the rear triangle which thankfully is aluminum, and there are no dents or deep scratches in the carbon that will alter the integrity of this frame. I put a 140mm air shaft in the fork to increase the travel (from 120mm) and have not noticed any downside in regards to climbing. 120mm air shaft included. I also replaced the wheelset with e13 wheels and hubs. The rear wheel has a few minor dents but they do roll relatively straight. Original Roval Traverse wheelset included. Maxxis DHR/DHF front/rear SWAT Bottle cage is cracked - Has not bothered me and still holds a Purist bottle down rough trails but does wobble a little. This could easily be fixed with super glue or of course, replaced entirely. Brand new PF30 bottom bracket - No rides with it yet. Command Post IR dropper is a bit sticky. Can be remedied in the short-run by putting more air in, but sometimes needs a little pull to get up to the tallest position. I haven't bothered fixing this as the 3-position height is a bit outdated and I would have preferred to buy a new post altogether. Selling my YT Capra AL. Purchased this brand new last September, so it's been sitting throughout the winter. I've really enjoyed everything about this bike, but I got a more trail oriented bike that's better for really long climbs and less technical descents. As you may have heard, read, or even experienced yourself, this bike absolutely rips downhill and pedals great too.
