I like 27.5" wheels and 20" wheels. I take breaks when I have to pedal up hills for more than 15 minutes, just to hydrate though.

Sklar Opens Pre-Order for Tall Tale Hardtail
@jesse-effing-edwards: Seems like it's something to do with keeping the geometry semi-consistent. Looks like the head angle changes by size so having the 140 on the XL probably makes it pretty steep, although a 150 on the large would probably be about ideal.

Video: Max Fredriksson’s Perspective on Why the Male Slopestyle Riders Decided to Not Compete at Crankworx Rotorua
This is the point I think a lot of people are missing. Huge televised event that riders are INVITED to. The event should provide food, lodging, and at least help with the transportation fees to get the names they want out there, as well as some unknown riders for a crowd pleasing underdog narrative. Prize money is only good for a few, so increasing that doesn't help out that many people, but if riders don't have to stress about their basic needs, (where am I staying? What can I afford that is relatively close to the event? Can I bring PB&J sandwiches on an international flight?) they're going to ride better and put on a better show. If it wasn't an invite only event, I wouldn't say the same things because then it would be open to anyone that has the skills and resources, but as an invite only event, help out the riders that are bringing revenue to your competition.

SaddleSpur’s New Saddle, Presented Without Comment of Any Sort
Including "Jump On!" in their copy had to be a joke that accidentally slipped in. Just like this saddle will.

Opinion: Why Climbing Efficiency Matters More Than You Think
@onawalk: Love your outlook on this. There's a time and a place for everything. It's like Gambler 500 cars vs. trophy trucks. Is the trophy truck faster than the lifted crown vic? Absolutely. Is it more capable? Also yes. But will it be as fun and squirelly on some mellow gravel fire roads? Probably not because it is overly capable for what you're throwing at it, whereas the crown vic will be at the very edge of it's capabilities and give you the endorphin rush of, "I can't believe I got away with that maneuver," and the truck would feel like another trip to the grocery store. But there will always be times when you really wish you had the trophy truck and you brought the crown vic. A lot of times, less is more fun and makes you appreciate "more" when you need it.
