DT Swiss Revamps 1700 Series Wheels With Anti-Pedal Kickback Hubs and New Rims
@phops: false. It engages while braking when your wheel momentarily locks up/slips.

DT Swiss Revamps 1700 Series Wheels With Anti-Pedal Kickback Hubs and New Rims
@phops: @TurboDonuts: The chain flap is not that big of a deal. Pedal kickback IS a thing - it mostly happens while braking over chunder - your wheel locks up momentarily as you are hitting bumps, and that is where you will notice the biggest benefit from something like this. O-chain is the technically better solution because it is the same amount of "slack" in the system no matter which gear you are in. The hub based ones have more slack in the easiest gears, the opposite of what you want, but for that they are much simpler, lighter, and require no additional maintenance. I run a hub-based system myself because I like the low maintenance, and it is eye-opening during braking, especially on my single pivot frame.

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
@dastone: have you ever tried to mount an I-Spec EV shifter to a SRAM brake, or any other brake? That is kind of a nightmare. I’d say SRAM is justified in this decision :-)

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
@weeksy59: ok, if you ever have issues with changing dead stroke, or spongy brakes, try a proper bleed. It might take you an extra beer, but will be worth it ;-)

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
Yes, this would result in ppl over/underfilling their brakes, and if you thought the Maven pumps were already massive…

SRAM Maven Brake Review: The Current Benchmark for Accessible Power
@weeksy59: that isn’t how brakes work, my man. If you only open one side, the top is the better option. Overfilling can also be dangerous if the fluid expands- you might destroy your pump as well. Advancing pistons only works until your pads wear.

EXT Storia 205x65mm, freshly serviced, 450lb/in spring

$500 EUR
This is a very good shock, I am only selling because I bought a simpler damper which I can service/tune myself. It’s been ridden and you can see that, but function is perfect and has not been ridden after a service by Schnurr Tech, the official EXT service center for Germany. 22x8mm hardware Tuned for a Last Tarvo 29in with 160mm travel. I switched to a mullet link with 170mm travel, and the tune works perfectly. If your bike is 160-170 and around 30% progressive, you shouldn’t need a re-tune- at any rate, you should try it first, do all you bracketing, and only then if you feel it needs it, have it custom tuned. As this is a private sale, no guarantee, replacement, or return is offered.
