Results: Asa Vermette & Gracey Hemstreet Win the 2026 Red Bull Hardline BC Finals
@DylanJM77: So including the replay numbers so far, the event has over 741k views. That's for a single new event. That's not including highlights, POV's of single runs (127k for Asa's run, 225k for Jackson's preview...), all the YT shorts. If you total the number of video views it is easily in the millions and climbing. That's just on YT. Add Insta, TikTok, RedBull TV... and you're probably in the 10's of millions for one first time event.
WBD is adding all the views on all the platforms for all the events of multiple well established worldwide (sort of) series. Yes, they have different distribution that may well expose some new viewers to the sport, but let's not look at those somewhat inflated self-promoting numbers and compare them to just the live viewers on one channel for one event.

I think the best thing for mtb promotion purposes would have been if the UCI had left Redbull in charge of running the DH broadcast, allowed for continued free distribution, and then sold WBD redistribution rights (for less money of course).

Replay: Red Bull Hardline BC 2026
I thought it was pretty good. Only the POV's came in super-grainy. I get it's cool to see from the racer's point of view, but the quality when it's livestreaming leaves a lot of room for improvement. Thankfully the drones must have higher bandwidth.

Finn really tried hard to slot himself in between Jordan and Asa, but just barely miss timed it. That's the kind of teammate he is though, instead of trying for another win.

But less exciting. The rocky bits will be interesting and we probably won't see enough of it, but overall it's such a short track and just not steep enough, specially in the wet.

Depending on how they both do. If Asa doesn't beat Jordan, then we have to wait to see how they both place.

@Hazab: It's too bad Finn couldn't make it a three horse race this year.
