FLY Racing is stoked to announce the addition of Kurt Sorge to its roster of MTB athletes. The Nelson, BC native will wear FLY Racing’s 2017 line of shorts, jerseys, gloves and protective gear in events around the globe.

Sorge has competed in the most prestigious contests and worked with the best photographers and cinematographers in the action sports world. He’s filmed for the infamous NWD series, Follow Me, and “Where The Trail Ends” to name a few, and he has competed in all types of freeride contests: from dirt jumping and slopestyle to big mountain events like the Red Bull Rampage, which he won in 2012 and took back the title in October of 2015. Most recently, Sorge was voted best whip at Dark Fest 2017 in South Africa.

bigquotesFLY has a long history in the BMX racing and the motorsports world supplying athletes with functional, durable and quality products. This is no different with their MTB gear. From the first look I was stoked to get my hands on the FLY apparel and even more impressed when I finally tried it out. I'm excited to be working with a company that listens to their athletes and together providing the best gear possible. Kurt Sorge.

Look for Kurt Sorge throwing down with his smooth and effortless style online and at events worldwide as the newest member of the FLY Racing MTB Family.

 Just heart break after heart break. Asked Sorge to ride for Tetrahedron, says no. I ask if he wanted to wear my racing gear called LMP (Lawn Maintenance Protection), and he says no. Can't catch a break.

 That's nothing bro, one time he told me he would be the face of my new smartphone controlled paper airplane company then he bailed and said it would hurt his "image". Then we were supposed to have him wearing D.I.L.D.O (Demolishing integrating lithium-ion duck ordinances) which is basically the worlds FIRST one piece duck feeding suit. Again the dude bails. Seems this a*shole only likes the shitty cheap stuff instead of real quality products like LMP or D.I.L.D.O

 Really like FLY's product line. Really hard to beat FLY's Default helmet for the price. Not the best vented helmet, but for a price around $100, beggars can't be choosers.
  • 2 0
 I use this helmet and love it...pretty sure its got 14 vents in it no? Breathes way better than my old tld d2.
  • 3 0
 Glanced at that first picture and thought his helmet was a big training wheel.

 Why exactly are the nwd movies infamous?
  • 6 1
 The way anything that shapes a genre is infamous.
  • 3 0
 Dusty, infamous is when you're more than famous. Like El Guapo! And not anything genre shaping.
  • 4 0
 @kubaner: infamous actually means being famous for something bad.
  • 2 1
 chest bumps?
  • 2 0
 @ericpalmer: Googled and confirmed. English lesson of the day comes from @ericpalmer! Cheers! Honestly though, possibly one of the most incorrectly used words. Have heard infamous used to describe people being great so many times. Interesting.

 @VwHarman: Come on... the infamous Mobb Deep?? Don't you know your hip-hop history?

(Seriously though, I think that's how I learned this word).

 @ericpalmer:
Yeah I know the meaning of the word.
Guess you gotta be of a certain age to appreciate a Three Amigos reference.
  • 2 0
 @kubaner: hahaha, totally. That reference was over my head till the clue. Classic.

 @Aprilfisheye: nope. Either too old, or the tiny town at the end of an island with no cable that I grew up in m8ght have something to do with it...
  • 1 0
 @ericpalmer: my point exactly haha
  • 2 0
