GOGRANDE

Shortly after moving to Colorado in 2012, I met this neighbor who was a crazy ginger. He introduced me to mountain biking and I’ve been hooked ever since. I grew up in South Florida racing BMX and riding moto. That probably didn’t help…

Race Analysis: High-Drama & Breakout Performances at the 2026 Loudenvielle DH World Cup
@jaytdubs: for real! I mean just bring some energy to the race. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation within the context of the sport and the risk level.

Interview: Isla Short on Her ADHD Diagnosis, Developing a Privateer Setup & Breakthrough World Cup Results
I’m a Licensed Counselor in private practice (16 years) and one of my primary focuses is teens with ADHD. This diagnosis is more commonly missed in girls compared to boys because of its presentation. It’s important for people to learn that ADHD is not just pure executive dysfunction, it’s much more nuanced - especially in girls. I myself was diagnosed with hyperactive type ADHD in kindergarten. It was insanely obvious and my symptoms were classic textbook “this boy is climbing the walls”. I got on meds and was able to function well through school because of it. In the end, I was lucky. Now, I’m helping boys and girls with ADHD every day and I know what they are going through personally. I use mountain biking to manage my own ADHD now. The neuroscience of mtb is proudly helpful for the ADHD brain. Nothing comes close to the balanced and calming effect I get after a good ride.
