Video: Friday Fails #324
It was 100% going to be #1, and then #7 came along. I assumed he was going to eat it off the drop, but then to go full send straight off the world's most famous hip just completely won me over....running into the ladder was the cherry on top

Video: Leatt Celebrates 20 Years
In 2012 I was at a MX track here in Boise, Idaho called Pleasant Valley for a practice day. I was one of the first out on the track and just went out to do a couple of warm up laps to get things rolling. At the time they had a mild whoop section going into a dragon's back that was about 80 to 90 feet if you went for the triple option....nothing crazy and if you came up short on the triple, you'd still be fine. It was my second lap on the track and I had hit this dragons back triple many times with no issues, so I headed into it coming out of the whoops with some heat. As I launched off the lip I vividly remember my front end diving and the engine revving to the moon as I tried to bring the front end up to no avail...I thought to myself "son of a bitch, this #$%^ing RMZ lost another tranny!" At the apex of the jump I was in full front flip mode, looking straight down at the lander of the dragons back if you took the double option....at this point I ejected from the bike. I have two vivid memories as I was about to slam head first into the backside of the triple lander. First was seeing my bike upside down and backwards, passing over my head. Second was on impact as I lawn darted, feeling my head getting pushed to the side into the Leatt, and then all this pressure around my shoulders. When the dust settled, I popped up and saw pretty much the entire parking lot coming toward me on various machines to help me out. I was dazed as all get out, and definitely sore, but I was walking around wondering what the hell just happened to me. People who saw me crash had already called 911, but ended up calling it off. Long story short, I found my chain at the lip of the jump where it'd let go, as it had snapped up the face. I wasn't doing anything for a few weeks as I healed up, but I also didn't have a single broken bone. I see all sorts of studies saying this and that about neck braces, and I'm sure we could argue for days about scientific evidence as to whether or not these things help, but I've never stepped foot on an MX bike or MTB without one. Dr. Leatt, I'd like to personally thank you as in my mind I'd not be walking and/or maybe not be alive were it not for your invention.
