ForestalBikes

Forestal Bikes is an outstanding project with one clear determination; to gather the best of every area in order to achieve an extraordinary outcome, creating a new bike brand that surpasses expectations at all levels. It is not only a matter of delivering a final product to the market, but to do it in a way that the added value perceived by the end consumer is of the highest level. In order to achieve this goal, the project has been settled upon an incredibly talented and experienced group of people coming from different sectors like motorsports, aircraft engineering, IT development and of course the bike industry, as well as being provided with the most innovative and technologically advanced tools and means.

@skywalkdontrun: we’re participating like everybody else can do. Don’t see anything working with that.

@grillis: Actually headsets for internal cable routing are more expensive... )) As mentioned above, it's mostly for aesthetic reasons. It is a solution that works and does not take a big deal to manage it once you learn how to use it. Road bikes all have cables like this... but we get the point of the cable tourism thing. Let's hope that the trend does not go then to completely external cable routing...

@dreamlink87: To be honest, aesthetically speaking there is nothing like the headset routing. Just looks so much better and cleaner, and cables are overall more protected. Once you get to know the assembly and disassembly of the headset, we are speaking about 5-8 more minutes with the bike. Given the "hate" for the Cable Tourism (you have to love this definition, pure Pinkbike XD ) we are considering offering alternatives for next productions.

Pushy's discounted not only Forestal, but mostly all Brands they had at the time. Management and ownership changed a couple of times, so whilst we don't deny that they could struggle to sell Forestal bikes (we have no certainty about this), seems this was more a management thing. There is a new distributor since some time ago already (Infinity MTB), and the picture is significantly different. About the value... to be honest we 100% agree. As users and overall customers, the bike industry is crazy expensive. Anyone believing that we are making big money with the prices of our bikes... should see the costs of Production.

Seems you have quite a different view of our Brand. Perhaps we can help you. First of all, whilst there have been issues with our first bikes, just like there are issues with mostly any bike even with Brands that have decades of existence, we have never been denying service and after-sales support, even extending warranty periods when an issue was acknowledged to be a common one. Good news is that our Productions are in small batches, so fortunately we can react and update quite quickly. There is now a good community of riders enjoying the first gen. bikes, which after all is the goal of all this. For your reference and so you and your friends have the correct info (who seem to know more than even ourselves), our company is growing positively. We were "born" in the Covid era, so we cannot say this has been a journey of rainbows and unicorns... all the contrary. Some people stay and other leave, that's how things work. Overall the Team is also growing both with people in our Headquarters (new HQ, by the way), and with collaborators like design and engineering studio. If you have issues with the nationality of people and whether they speak English, Spanish or Russian... that's more a personal thing of yours. We particularly don't have any racism issues and we kindly invite you to do the same. Andorra is not a tax haven and actually has very strict controls due to its attractive situation. Perhaps the UK is a tax hell? We are welcoming everybody who wants to move to Andorra. It's a marvellous place to have a peaceful and sport-focused living! What is right, we do have externalised production for the new generation of bikes due to the logistic inconveniences of being in a country with literally 2 roads to enter and exit. Customers like your friend were complaining about the costs of shipping and lead times (thanks Brexit too), so we took action. Our Production is happening now in Taiwan like the vast majority of the bike industry, even some of the Brands you mentioned above. It could be said that the knowhow of a well-known assembler is providing significant value to our quality. That does not mean that Forestal is Taiwanese, as this comment for example, is being typed from Andorra. Note: The bike reviewed here is a bike from September 2024, presented in November 2024, and first Production happening in January 2025. It was very clearly indicated that the bike had small things to correct such as the glue form the rubber protectors and especially the cover of the storage compartment. We can confirm this was corrected for Production models. Not sure about the fake CEO thing... perhaps you can contact us directly and ask to talk with him? We do acknowledge that we are a new brand, though a second generation of bikes is always a good sign to show consolidation. There is yet a long way to run, no doubt about it. What we know too, is that we put all our experience and passion to design and develop bikes that have an identity. Some like it, some don't, and that's the great thing about having offers to choose from. What is also sure, is that one of the few ways we have to stand out, is to make things in the most exquisite way possible, paying attention to detail and being ready to react, respond and improve.

@Rigidjunkie: Hey, We totally get this comment, however, this wasn't actually an error, this pre-production test bike shipped overseas for the review in December. At the point of assembly, there was no availability of the production spec tyre for this bike. All production bikes ship on the 2.5 tyre (which sizes up considerably smaller than the 2.6 fitted to this test bike). We hope this helps.
