@IntoTheEverflow: I've been trying to figure out, if placing the women last would make a difference. I think it might. Hear me out. What if we aired the junior men last, as if it were the main event? It's almost just as fast. Almost more crashes and spectacle becuase the juniors are just more gung ho. If one hyped it a bit, talked about it in each prior broadcast, I think it would in fact resilt in more viewership. Whether it would do the same for the famle field, I don't know. But in my though experiment, placing the juniors last, could conceivably increase the viewership.

To be fair, this little outfit is not the industry and I don't imagine his idea is to 'win this decade'. Looks to me like a passion project and if there are rich buyers to fund it, then cool. Making money off good value bikes seems to only be possible for the big players. I would reserve thos sort of critique for them. It certainly is a valid critique. Also, I have never bought a new bike, and never spent more than then like 1,5k on a bike. Just in case this comes across as me speaking on behalf of the dentists.

I think that this has less to do with the actual shaft speed, and more to do with where in the travel the damping occurs. The hysteresis will likely only be very pronounced, there lots of air needa to pass, i.e. at close to bottom out. For small compressions there should be very little air passing between the chambers, meaning the little orifice is sufficient to equalise.
