COVE PEELER DH MONSTER

$1500 USD
Here's another beauty that I built up many years ago and rode only two or three times on a single track.I acquired this bike directly from Vancouver British Columbia, where I was friends with the Cove factory crew, and it's been in storage for a long time. Top of the line components, is one reason why this bike rides like an absolute dream. Cove frames are built like Sherman tanks, that could handle twenty foot drops and everything else in between. This bike has been babied and barely ridden. It is in fantastic condition and if it weren't for some scratches on the Mavic rims, would qualify as in near mint condition. You will never find a nicer Cove Peeler in this condition. Thanks for looking.

DIRTWORKS PIRANHA DH BEAST MEGA RARE

$2500 USD
You are looking at a 2006 Dirt Works Piranha, probably the only one left in existence. Here's a short history of the bike.In 2006 Dirt Works of Southern CA built six of these for their 2006 downhill racing team. Unfortunately two of the frames were destroyed during the heating process.Shortly after the 2006 racing season was over, Dirt Works closed it's doors. This was Rob Taylor's personal bike ( the founder and owner of Dirt Works). I acquired it and removed all of the original components and built it up again using my own high end components including a brand new World Cup Boxxer ($1,699.00) and a new Fox rear shock as well.Since then this bike has never been ridden, not even once! Not wanting to damage the bike in any way, I set it aside and went on a national search to hopefully find another one for riding purposes.Approximately two years later by some miracle, I found a second one that was in the San Francisco Bay area. This one was not in the greatest of shape.I used it for as long as possible and decided to retire it. I still have many of the original parts which will go to the new owner. These came in two frame sizes S/M and M/L. If you are unfamiliar with this bike, know that it was rated as one of the five greatest downhill bikes ever produced by Mountain Bike Action Magazine. Also known for having the highest bottom bracket stand over clearance of any production bike ever made. For serious inquiries, I can provide a full list of the bike's components. Since my racing days are over, I will also include a brand new Nashbar heavy duty professional work stand. I bought this over twenty years ago and it went into storage, as my bike tech took care of all my bike's mechanical needs The condition of this bike is near mint. For additional pictures of anything you'd like to see, please ask. Thank you.

Ask Us Anything: Fox Factory
HI, I HAVE A 2006 DIRTWORKS PIRANHA WITH A ROMIC SHOCK ON IT.SERVICE AND PARTS ARE VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT FOR THIS SHOCK. I DESPERATELY WANT TO CHANGE IT TO A FOX SHOCK. THE ROMIC MEASURES 9 1/4" FROM EYE TO EYE. THE 450# SPRING MEASURES 6 3/4" LONG. THE SHOCK HAS A 3" STROKE. I RUN 2.8" TIRES THEREFORE THE GAP BETWEEN THE TIRE AND SWING ARM IS ONLY 1/4" APART. WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT I BUY A 9.5" X 3 SHOCK OR AN 8.75" X 2.5 SHOCK TO PLAY IT SAFE, OR IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER? THANK YOU.
