@CobyCobie: but you won't. Any hit that would shatter a carbon rim would total out an aluminum rim. So again I ask, would you warranty that same aluminum rim based off your mistake?

If not, why should you expect the carbon to be a warranty case?
I'm not opposed to warranties but they're for defects not user errors.

Unpopular opinion but warranties aren't for crashes. Would you warranty your Tacoma because you hit a tree off roading?
Crash replacement discounts are great programs to keep customers on your products without getting hosed by abuse.

@Genewich: yep. downsides of recycling frames across different disciplines. Kinda surprised they didn't pull a Yeti/SC and at least use nicer carbon for the short travel frame in order to offer a lightweight option.

@jspier: Not always though. The Liv Devote had all the trendy gravel improvements over a year before the men's version (better geo, dropper compatibility). Same with the updated Intrigue vs Trance X a couple years back.
