Hope Releases Super Short High-Stack Stem
Sign me up, because I like the tall stack riding position, especially with a long chainstay.
I am achieving something similar with a lot of spacers under my 35mm stem. i guess I will have to test it on an older fork which has the steerer tube cut to a more trad length.

Jul 13, 2026Intend Hover Gamechanger 205x65 or 205x60
$550 USDStandard Trunnion mount.
Lightly used, maybe 200 miles/20 hours. The plan was to occasionally convert my Enduro bike to a Trail bike by running lighter parts and reducing the travel using this shock. While that worked great, I eventually wound up with a Fox NEO Live Value Neo DHX and just ride it like that all the time ..heavy and full travel.
The pics make it look kind of scratched up ...it must be dust or reflection because the shock looks great in person ...only some minor wrench marks from accessing the positive air chamber to remove volume reducers.
Will come with the following:
1) used External travel reducer kit; converts the stroke from 65 to 60mm
2) unused Air Volume reducers; adds progressivity/bottom out support; currently none installed
3) unused High Speed Compression re-shim kit; this will add HSC for heavier or harder hitting riders
4) unused rebuild kit: you might need it if you do the re-shim, otherwise ride for another 100 hours and then use it.
5) used Intend Digital Pump; I have a couple of shock pumps, so I'm passing this one on to the next owner of the shock.
6) used 22x8mm shock mounting hardware. Please do let me know if you don't need this as I might be able to reuse it on my current bike.
I would trade for a 29er or potentially a mullet wheelset with 20x110 TA front and 12 x 148 TA rear, but it would need to be new or excellent.

Two Vermont Builders Handed $35,000 Fine for Unauthorized State Forest Trails
Where I live, 99% of all trails were created illegally and adopted as legal trails later. There have been a number of illegal trails that were not adopted too. I'd say less than 5 percent remain "illegal". Thanks you for your service.

Jul 2, 2026Sprindex 65x390-430 Fox, Rockshox, etc
$70 USDSprindex coil 390-430 pounds in five pound increments. Stroke is 65mm.
Fits Fox, Marzocchi, Cane Creek, DVO, X=Fusion, EXT, Formula and Vorsprung. Let me know which shock you plan to use it with so I can send the correct spacers ...if needed.
I bought this used, ran it for a few rides and switched to a heavier SprinDex spring.
The Sprindex is a game changer in my opinion. Because standard coils come in 25 to 50 lbs incrments, you might not be able to find the best match for you bike or body weight. The Sprindex allows you to fine tune the spring rate similar to how you add or remove air from your air shock or fork. HOWEVER ...you can make adjustments to the spring rate without even getting off the bike. For flow trails, add 5 to 15 LBS of additional spring rate. For long, rocky climbs reduce the spring rate ...3 hours into the your ride, dial in some comfort.

The Ride 886 TopHat Adds a Two-Stage Air Spring to Fox Forks - Taipei Cycle Show 2026
I've got an EXT Era and Fox Podium which I have run on the same bike. The Podium is fine for it's intended (no pun intended (no pun meant)) purpose, but gives up a little bit if plushness if you need to use it on slow, rugged climbs. Rather than whine like a baby about new technology, I will go ahead and give this a shot if for no other reason than I love to puzzle of bike suspension performance. Don't look for a review though.
