I have to admit I found it even tougher to see his wife’s body insta sharing their wedding just last year. The isle, honeymoon hikes etc. I’m 40 now and life is a blur. Not long ago it was the wedding bliss thing- shredding bikes, hiking, dogs. Then add kids (the big life changer) and most amazing part so far. And now health events that in my case I couldn’t really stop coming (risky brain surgery coming up to remove a tumor). Life seems like one big game of here today, gone tomorrow. Hold on to every good minute you get. As fortunate as I am to have such great support, it looks like Adolf is in great hands to take on his battle. Life’s short and most things are meaningless- donate to Adolf and give to other meaningful causes as they arise. It truly is an opportunity to live with a sense of community and purpose.

Paul Bas- partial but amazing recovery. Brook Macdonald- partial but near complete recovery. I still remember a video wherein Adolf said: “F**k crashing. I don’t give a f**k about crashing!” He’s just wired different, and likely in a way that will make him much better prepared to endure the consequences. Adolf may well ride again but if not, he seems to have the spirit to confront whatever may lie ahead.

Remy recently hit that section as well. These two would have a blast hitting slabs together if they haven't already.

No doubt he has polytrauma but the back injury is likely the most measurable and discrete issue they can define. Like most of us who have had SCI or head trauma, a lot of what he may endure is yet to be fully understood and realized. Of course I hope that I am wrong and he has none of the above.
