5 New SPD Trail & DH Pedals Tested: Can Anyone Beat Shimano?
I’ve been on various versions of Shimano clippers pedals for more than 20 years. All of them still run perfect and have taken serious abuse. Bought some NukeProof Horizon SPD’s a couple seasons ago, just to try something different, and they are literally falling apart. Springs are rusted and axles come loose frequently.
Shimano, buy once and cry once. They will last you a lifetime with minimal maintenance.

Cannondale to Shut Down Factory Race Program After 2026 Season
@k-n-i-x-o-n: I tend to think that Specialized selling a lot of XC bikes (in the USA at least)) has more to do with their tie in to NICA and the discounts available to NICA coaches and athletes (40%), many of whom also race outside of NICA. At least that has been what I have noticed in my part of the Country as a NICA coach.
