Pinkbike Primer: The EWS Heads to Burke, Vermont for the First Time
@withdignityifnotalacrity: Exactly, that shuttle is clutch for getting to the top, especially when you're saving your legs for the miles of smiles Burke and region has to offer.

Pinkbike Primer: The EWS Heads to Burke, Vermont for the First Time
@5afety3rd: I've ridden all over North American and focus lots of time riding in New England including Burke which I've ridden countless times. 5k feet climbing a week is average at my local Frederick Watershed trails in Maryland. Beer guzzling and hours long road climbs, no thanks I have a demanding career outside biking. Though there's something to be said for Vermont's noteworthy breweries.

Pinkbike Primer: The EWS Heads to Burke, Vermont for the First Time
@sfrucian: Nearly 13% grade for the entire climb, and over 14.25% grade for the last 2.5 miles is mellow? Mellow maybe only to those who make a career of riding bikes.

Ridden & Rated: 12 Jackets for Wet Weather Riding
@mrriddle: The jacket runs 1/2 size small and is very tight in the chest and neck (you will gag zipping it all the way up). The product review is very inaccurate in that regard. Size up and you might be able to wear chest and elbow pads, depending on the pads. I'm 5'-9" and 165lbs with a lean athletic build. I found the medium to fit like a small and the large to be slightly too bulky in the upper arms and belly. The sizing is puzzling, designed by someone with a caved in chest! Otherwise I'd recommend the Leatt jacket.

Review: BikeYoke Revive 2.0 Dropper Post
I've had the Bikeyoke Revive for three seasons on 2 separate bikes and nearly 3k miles total riding. I have not once had to revive the dropper post and it's never been serviced. 3 years later it's still as buttery smooth and infinitely adjustable.ad the day I bought it. Eventually, it may need to be serviced like anything else, like my forks and hydraulic breaks (which is done yearly or sooner if needed)..
