So funny, I have a '99 Stinky with the BETD long travel plate, and a 2006 Marzocchi Drop Off Triple on it. I do have the OG plate and Z1 Bomber fork. I built it up during Covid and went out for a ride, oh my word...what a riot. The angles are all sorts of bad, you fight for every last bit of grip you can and is it exhillerating, hell yeah it is! But it is busy, you are working hard on the bike. It is more thrilling but, wayyyyy slower than a more modern DH rig. Brilliant fun, I will watch the second half since the missus interupted me watching your video, was enjoying what I did watch, thanks Dario.

Just checked mine, the woman have both qualified, not one of my guys has made the cut, FFS!

@Beazy: that’s great thanks, will give them a watch. Guess I’ll just have to ride Ft William instead of enjoying race wkend when it is binned from the calendar as seems inevitable. It’s been a rumour for a couple of years so I guess it’s finally going to happen. Not actually ridden it since I smashed my foot to smithereens in 2021 on it so might take a couple of days to get back up to speed.

@edspratt: I noticed under ‘Sport and Product Alignment’ DH states ‘3 minutes of racing’ Now I might be a touch biased, but does that mean Ft William will be pushed from the calendar since there is no way that track can be shortened to the required time. Honestly it’s about all I’ve got left in terms of following DH. These days the coverage is sh*te on TV, at least we can still go to the race weekend at Ft. William but seems like that may be short lived in the coming years. What’s your opinion/understanding of the chances Ft William will remain? Unless I’m mistaken fans, teams and riders alike enjoy the Ft William track. If they remove it then I’m done with even attempting to follow the sport, I’ll stick to MotoGP and the FWT where coverage is good and you can keep up with who is doing well, who is injured etc. In my perfect world the teams and riders would refuse to race in the UCI/Whoop/WBD organised bulltwang and organise their own races direct with the venues, perhaps after a bit Redbull would get involved and we could all go back to the good times!

@casey79: I stand by my comment, a circuit is where the start and finish are in the same place making a loop. Noun; a roughly circular line, route, or movement that starts and finishes at the same place. Nobody said anything about the rule book, as previous my point was that it is not a circuit, of which I remain convinced. Geez, want to argue black is white some folk.
