@xciscool: He was a US National Champ I think in Junior, U23 and Elite, so yeah, not that competitive. But maybe you're kidding in which case you got me. =)

@11six: last fall he said he might try to do it if it fit his schedule but I imagine it would have meant qualifying points in XC races during the season. I'm sure he'll be on the sidelines!

I live locally and everything above is generally true, but it will still be rad. SoHo is fast and fun because of all the things folks say - it's generally not technical but there are some good rock areas and it's fast as hell and super physical because of that. The start hill in the short track and XCO is jelly leg puke material and Also there's a three set roller double section into a flat fall away drop into a ravine that, while not technical if you're having fun and cruising, is going to be tricky at high speed when riders are seeing double. The riders are going to make the racing and I think they're going to have fun.

I'm waiting on a warranty replacement of my 2013 Occam 29c frame to the new 2016 Occam TR 29c. I love their lifetime warranties.
