@gieseja: You're right, that is the typical schedule. Don't know why they changed that other than it's the last round (?). I checked the race schedule on the UCI page over a month ago and it was listed as dh finals on sunday. Not positive if it was listed like that the whole season though. The change brought up in the article is just referring to the junior mens and womens time slots being swapped, not the weekend as a whole.

You really think world cup mechanics are poorly trained? Henri smashed his chainring into a rock and then his chained popped off. Not much his mechanic could've done about that. The tire inserts for specialized could have been a rider choice. Lots of riders prefer the feel of no insert. Crazy take to blame the mechanics or really anyone for this crash

It'd be interesting to see a comparison of how high everyone's handlebars are off the ground. I remember seeing Reece's gamux next to goldstones V10 and the bars ended up around the same height from the ground. I'd bet some of these more extreme looking setups aren't all that wild when you compare them in a more even way

@meathooker: It's almost like they specified first elite win. Should there have been a separate junior prize? Would've been cool to see, but that wasn't the case. Hattie got the first elite world cup win and first elite dh world cup win on a belt drive. Seems well deserved to me
