Jun 5, 2025Santa Cruz V10.8 CC / Fox Factory
$6000 USDAll fox factory X2. Dominion A4 brakes with short throw levers, Albert radial tires in gravity ultra soft, cushcore trail. Bike has two small blimishes by the bottom bracket after one small crash. Size is Medium. I'm moving but I don't wanna get rid of this bike, it's my favorite bike.. However not much use in the PNW... 6k no low ballers. I'll keep it before going under. In person purchases only. Zelle or Cash.

Fox Patent Reveals Adjustable Tuned Mass Damper for Mountain Bikes
Pinkbike comment section is a shit show as always... Most of the commenters are riding modern bikes which have been shaped over years by small gains and technology like this... and the usual PB commenter roasting them the whole time.. Just to turn around and buy it later and gasp at how much better modern bikes are than their 30 year old dirt road bikes... Watching riders 180 on ebikes they despised 6 years ago has been an absolute shit grinning experience.

Podcast: Loic Bruni & Finn Iles Talk to Dean Lucas About Building A Riders Union
@yoimaninja: TV deals. That is why a union is important. They can collectively bargain on the riders behalf. Like any other TV deals, that is the no way that drives the industry. If ESPN or FOX sports picked it up, as well as a weekly show, put money into the content quality. The riders cba would likely be massive. It would also dictate what responsibilities the sponsors have as well as the leagues.

Fazua's New Ride 60 Motor System Has More Power & Range
The new carbon Rise is 35 lbs. You don't need to remove the motor or battery to ride it off. It's the same weight as a normal enduro bike.. Plus you can just turn it on when you want it, and off when you don't..
I said this in the past but I can see the industry just making SL bikes to replace the analog ones soon enough outside of ultra light XC bikes because they are practically the same weight and they don't have to produce multiple frames. You don't wanna use the features? Then don't. Now purist may hate this, but at this point, we see where the future is moving. I think they will still offer analog bikes, don't get me wrong. They will just be essentially one model that is customizable. Who knows though. If the weight gets low enough where the there is no difference, I can't see companies spending the money on multiple frames when it's not needed. That time so far, is not now, but it's getting closer and closer.
There are videos of guys riding the SL/Rise/EX-E etc with motor off on 1000+ accents and they all say it feels pretty much like their normal bikes.. so.
