Field Test: Specialized S-Works Kenevo SL - An eMTB In Disguise
I had a 2020 Enduro S-Works, which I loved, and now Kenevo SL Expert........it is def quicker up hill, Strava proves this. That said, its not night and day quicker, unlike full fat eBikes which just fly by. On the downs.....probably slightly slower on the Kenevo, but not too much in it too. I'm pretty impressed with it to the extent that I sold my Enduro. The key thing is I can do 50% more riding before I'm as blown up....and upper body getting even more of a work out due to more downs. The other positive of the Kenevo is when getting tired you can still get up the pretty steep climbs without having to go all out, but just have to put it in a low gear and climb at a slow rate.

2020 Specialized Enduro SWorks S4 but with warranty frame replacement for 2021 red frame, well GLOSS RED TINT / SPECTRAFLAIR / METALLIC WHITE SILVER The reason for showing the image of the original white/grey frame is so you can see that the bike had done nothing (40 miles or so), but spotted minor cracks around the seat tube. All the original 2020 components swapped on to the new frame by dealer (Rutland Cycles in MK)), with all the paper work (original invoice and new frame). Over 50's rider, I bought it just before covid but the bike has mostly pottered around my local flat gravel tracks with the misses so a waste of this bikes capabilities. Minor marks but only in the invisiframe, full set fitted from new.
