[Updated with Overall] Final Results from the Vallnord DH World Cup 2022
@andrew8404: Ah...your calculus is flawed as you forget to include the all important World Championships! In order to be considered as the GOAT you MUST have succeeded in three categories: World Cup wins, Overalls and World Champ wins. The one you conveniently ignored is winning the Rainbow Jersey at least once, or maybe four times. How could a downhiller be the GOAT without ever being World Champion? In any sport you can't be a Triple Crown winner if you only win two of the three events. Gwin has been absolutely dominant in WC races the past, but let's talk about the GOAT when he has won World Champs a few times. And let's be honest, the TRUE DH GOAT is Rachel Atherton! None of the boys can touch her achievements

@humoroususername: haha! Cause we all know how great he performs at Worlds! No disrespect to him, but his last win was before 29” or mullet and some up and comers have had 4 years to get up to speed. As I said, he will be top 15, but I don’t see him landing on the top step. But hey, Gwin is the #2 male racer of all time, ya never know. Sure is fun to speculate!

Not much of a chance for the tie as this course is the only one that resembles SoCal. He will probably be top 15 pretty regularly but he needs a certain track to even hit top 5 with all of the talent out there now. That has always been his nemesis…not enough training in Europe on the steep rocks and roots, especially following his big injuries. Good to see him competitive though!

@Emmetth: Thanks Emmett! For some reason those links don't work. Regardless - you and Brad rip!! The show makes it seem as though no one has ridden Big White before and that is just not accurate. It is a critique of how PBA put the show together and not of you or Brad as riders. Others have stated similar issues with the show... Regardless, I am a huge fan of you, Brad, Flo and Laura! All the best to you and I am looking forward to the final episode, and am sad it is ending. Cheers!

@Mpblikes2ski: Not sure that is true... The whole PBA likely lasted a couple weeks tops and the riders were basically doing whatever they could in the small amount of downtime to recover from the daily events. So, sure, maybe during the couple weeks they were there they rode the trails a few times but that still doesn't give anyone the same level of trail knowledge as a local.

@DylanDaSilva: Even having a few days on a trail that someone has never ridden is a huge advantage. And when Emmett was on the phone, his dad was asking which trails the race was on so he and his family definitely know that mountain. That is why locals usually do well at EWS events...they know the trails. I'd love to see Emmett and Brandon ride trails neither had ridden before. That would be more fair in the context of a competition for a contract. Based on the fact that Emmett is a local, the potential sponsors and us as viewers have no idea how he rides on trails that are new to him. No disrespect to Emmett at all as the guy def has skills, but how does that translate on new terrain? If I were the sponsor, I'd want to see how a potential enduro racer handles new and different trails rather than their home trails.
